Myth or Science: The Power of Poo (Feb 2018)

Our love of science sometimes takes us to strange places, and subjects that are difficult to talk about.

This latest collaboration between Electric Square and Infield Fly Productions for CBC Nature of Things deals with something we all do, yet are often reluctant to discuss…poo!

Jennifer Gardy, the fearless host of the Myth or Science series, takes a journey through our digestive system and explores whether our waste is a hazardous end product to be discarded, or whether it can be repurposed in a variety of ways to benefit our health.

We continue our tradition with this series in offering a wide variety of visual effects to help support the story. From animating Jenn’s signature doodles to help explain the Bristol Stool Chart to rendering a hyperreal, (and not too disgusting) voyage through a colon, Electric Square was ready to take the plunge!
