Destination: Moon! (July 2018)

We provided animation as part of this object theatre installation at the Telus World of Science – Edmonton. In addition to bringing to life the host character Regina as she leads the audience through a show celebrating the lunar artifacts brought back by the Apollo 15 astronauts, we also created an exciting sequence depicting the rocket taking off on that mission.

We also created a cinematic sequence that demonstrated the leading theory of how our moon was formed, namely that Earth was struck by an errant planetoid many, ahem, moons ago and the resulting impact debris spun in orbit and ultimately coalesced into the satellite we know and love today.
